Yaniv's Story
Yaniv Levy first tapped into his innate ability to design hair at age 17. At 21, having already trained under salon industry leaders, Yaniv moved to Los Angeles and began styling for celebrities and trendsetters. After a number of years on the Hollywood circuit, Yaniv moved to New York, and in 2010 he opened Y Gallery Salon in Soho, and to much acclaim.
Within the first few years, Y Gallery Salon became a downtown success, gaining notoriety throughout the local art scene, while Yaniv simultaneously worked the shows at New York Fashion Week. He became part of the inner circle, building a reputation for his signature styling, cuts and color techniques.
In 2019, Yaniv launched Soho Blow Bar, introducing a whole new approach to blowouts. In his unique method, Yaniv combines master styling with a number of special treatment options including clear shine gloss, color gloss, organic smoothing treatments, split end cuts, and more.
Building upon his SoHo Blow Bar success, Yaniv now brings his signature services to Brooklyn, with the debut of Williamsburg Blow Bar in October 2025. Set in a loft right below the Williamsburg Bridge, Yaniv brings his vision to the heart of Brooklyn's thriving art community, with a custom designed space renovation creating state of calm, peace, rejuvenation and beauty. In March 2026, Yaniv launched Williamsburg Salon in the same newly design space, offering full salon services in a sanctuary setting.
A fine artist and Kung Fu expert in his spare time, Yaniv aims to create an environment of mutual inspiration, reflecting his dedication to the mind/body connection and the eternal pursuit of harmony.
